The IncuMix™ Incubator Sharket is one of the few instruments dedicated to simultaneous heating and mixing of small samples.

The IncuMix has the largest capacity and is supplied with interchangeable platforms for micro-tubes and microplates. Both temperature and shaking speed are adjustable over a broad range. Uniformity and stability within the chamber are a result of mechanical convection.

For static incubations, the shaker may be turned off. Operating parameters, including time and temperature, are controlled by a microprocessor. Self-diagnostic software continuously monitors the IncuMix for proper temperature and shaking speed, alerting the user to any errors. Heating and shaking are controlled by feedback loops which precisely maintain chosen parameters, independent of load or voltage fluctuations. The sturdy construction of the IncuMix provides stability during high speed shaking. The chamber is fully insulated to maintain uniform temperature and to reduce operating noise.

A broad temperature range, up to 150ºC, and excellent uniformity make these dry baths useful for a variety of applications in molecular biology, histology, clinical, environmental and industrial settings. A high wattage heater provides rapid heating and is precisely and accurately controlled by a microprocessor.

The stainless steel block chamber ensures and even transfer of heat from the heating element to the block. Temperature is easily set using the arrow keys while the value is shown on the large digital display. The Digital Block Heater is easily calibrated by users to in-house standards when required. Single or dual block models are available. A variety of interchangeable blocks, shown on the facing page, accommodate a wide variety to tubes, plates and slides. Solid blocks are available for custom machining. Each Digital Block Heater is supplied with a block lifter to enable the user to easily change blocks, even when they are hot.

As an alternative to traditional blocks consider using Lab Armor Beads.  For the cost of one standard block, Lab Armor Beads will allow the block heater to accomodate any virtually size tube.

Temperature Controlled Equipment Blocks are available in a variety of formats for use with the Digital Block Heater on the previous page. All blocks are made of high grade, non-porous aluminium and precision machined for a close fit with sample containers - important for fast and efficient heat transfer. Anodizing adds corrosion resistance.

Most blocks, except those designed for use with plates and slides, include a position for a thermometer and a hole for use with the block lifter tool (supplied with the bath). The unique Pop Stopper accessory, sold separately, fits on the micro-tube blocks to keep tube lids from popping open during heating.

A rack is also available to accompany the D1105A block. It can be used to quickly transfer samples into and out of the block and is self-standing. Insulated handles protect users fingers. The rack can be used at temperatures up to 150ºC and is autoclavable.

The Mini Incubator is a small unit designed for personal use, small laboratories and classrooms. The Mini Incubator features a broad temperature range to meet a variety of small sample applications. Wrap-around heating elements ensure even heating and uniformity within the Mini Incubator.

A hydraulic thermostat controls heating and temperature stability. A thermometer port in the top of the unit allows users to monitor temperature. The large window in the door gives a clear view of the contents which can include up to 48 petri dishes or 28 standard microplates. Shelves can be placed at two points within the corrosion resistant chamber. A cord port allows small mixers to be placed in incubator.
